My Background

  • Personal
  • I was born in Taiwan, and have immigrated three times in my life so far. First time as a child, second time as a teen, and third time as an adult. Each move presented unique challenges to knowing who I am and expressing myself in my relationships. It was often a struggle to find spaces that understood the intersection of my immigration history, culture, sexuality, and gender. So when I became a therapist, I wanted to support people with similar experiences.
